Viborg

Viborg is a historic city with a population of nearly 40,000. It is one of the oldest cities in Denmark and is located in an area called Midtjylland (Central Jutland). Sports in Viborg are highly valued by the locals. Handball is very popular here. A large number of competitions are held in the city. If you live in Viborg, you will have the opportunity to visit Viborg Miniture Town. This is a mini version of the city from 1850. At that time the city had about 4,000 inhabitants. The houses are built on a scale of 1:10. Be sure to take a walk to Lake Klejtrup. There you will find a miniture map of the world – lakes, rivers, mountains and flags. The map of the world is widely used as an atlas on the shores of the lake with beautiful green areas.

Apple is building an entirely new Data Center just outside Viborg, which is a great opportunity to work both in the IT field and for unskilled workers. Last but not least, Dania Academy is the only academy accredited by CISCO.

You will be able to find relatively easy accommodation at a decent price in Viborg. The good news is that the dormitories of the academy are directly opposite the university building, which will give you the opportunity to sleep as long as possible before going to lectures. However, do not take these dormitories for granted, as they are by no means sufficient for all students. That’s why it’s a good idea to apply for them as soon as you decide you want to study in Viborg. If you are lucky, you can get a room with a direct view of the stands of the city stadium.
