What is the program all about?

Design, Technology and Business in Denmark is a program that involves a lot of creative work. It is recommended that you have some skills in the field of graphics, because you will often need to use programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The AP program consists of 4 semesters divided into several modules. You can choose between 2 sub-specialties – Branding and Marketing or Fashion Design. The first semester provides basic marketing knowledge, as well as useful analytical tools and skills that you continue to build on in the future. Here you will learn methods to analyze the market and how to process information specifically for your project.

Admission requirements and needed documents.

For your documents to be reviewed, you must have:
English – level B.
Mathematics – level B.

1. Motivation letter.
2. Diploma for completed secondary education or academic transcript (for the last 3 years with grades and number of hours of teaching).
3. Verification form.
4. Copy of your ID card or passport.
5. English certificate.

What can you continue studying or where can you work?

After completing the AP degree Design, Technology and Business in Denmark at VIA University College, you can continue with a  top up bachelor program Design and Business at the same university.
You can also review other top up or bachelor’s degrees in Denmark. If you want to continue your education outside of Denmark, this is also possible. Contact us to avoid mistakes.

You will be able to work as a Marketing Assistant, Communication Assistant, PR Assistant, Event Coordinator, Project Manager Assistant.
You can also be an assistant in the fashion industry. Based on the sketches created by the designer, your job will be to help develop the designer’s collection. For example, you will collect the appropriate materials for the collection and make graphic presentations for the production of clothing.

Personal opinion and practical experience

The Branding and Marketing specialization I have chosen offers trips to various European cities in order to explore the different markets and find inspiration. In my course of work, I worked in groups, usually of about 4 people, in which we developed marketing strategies for companies in various fields. You will learn what it is like to work with different people and you will decide in which area to look for realization.
