Bachelor in Engineering, Innovation and Business
What is the program all about?
The world needs engineers who want to create and run their own business. If you think that you have the necessary engineering thought and at the same time you want to be your own boss (and to others), then the program of innovation and business will give you the opportunity to fulfil your plans!
Here you will not only develop and apply a number of engineering skills, but you will develop your own and other people’s ideas on a daily basis (often initially quite crazy ones). You will design prototypes, optimize production processes to achieve the desired end result. Furthermore, expect technical knowledge and skills in mechanical design, programming and electronics so that you can develop technical solutions that will be needed in the near and distant future. You will work with simulation, virtual reality and other technologies that can be included in the optimization of the smart factory of the future or a space shuttle. You will be expected to combine commercial and managerial knowledge with technical understanding to create new products or new business models.
In the first year you will get an idea of the whole innovation process from the initial idea to its commercialization. You will learn to develop new technical products that over time can be a starting point for your new business.
You will acquire basic skills:
- Creativity and innovation management;
- Mechanics, electronics and programming;
- Business Administration;
- Techniques for product development, project management and other practical methods.
The training shifts between lectures, group works, practical lessons and project work. You will learn to work with different academic fields through teamwork.
