Global Business Engineering (BA)

What is the program all about?

Each semester you will have 3-4 subjects, where you will gain skills to apply in the development of your semester project (in a group of 3-7 people). You will have a written or oral exam for each of the subjects. The semester project should be submitted in writing and defended by oral group presentation, followed by discussion with the examiners.

After the first year of education, each student will have to choose a field in engineering that they want to proceed with – mechanics or software engineering. With the first opportunity, you will gain knowledge in the field of mathematics, physics and programs with which you will build new products. If you choose software engineering, you will create websites, databases and smart phone applications. This divides the class into two large groups that meet in common classes in marketing, economics, finance, communications, languages ​​and other.

Global Business Engineering is an extremely diverse program that introduces students to information from various fields without going into great detail. This allows the student to emphasize on the subject they would like to pursue in the future. The approach helps to adapt faster to a new environment and make it easier to work in a team.

Admission requirements and needed documents.

For your documents to be reviewed, you must have:
English B.
Mathematics A.
2nd foreign language C.

1. Motivation letter.
2. Diploma for completed secondary education or academic transcript (for the last 3 years with grades and number of hours of teaching).
3. Verification form.
4. Copy of your ID card or passport.
5. English certificate.

What can you continue studying or where can you work?

After completing the bachelor’s degree in Global Business Engineering, you will be able to pursue various master’s degrees in Denmark. You can review all master’s degrees in Denmark. If you want to continue your education outside of Denmark, this is also possible. Contact us to avoid mistakes.

Global business engineers work mainly in the industrial market, especially in the field of mechanical engineering and software engineering. You will usually hold management positions (project manager, export manager, product manager, software engineer) in the design and implementation of technical solutions, as well as in marketing and sales.

Personal opinion and practical experience

In the first semester, I had to construct a robot that could be used by companies with warehouses. The robot’s task was to distribute the goods in this warehouse. For inspiration, I had the opportunity to use my first job, in the largest warehouse in Aarhus, where I could see already working forklift robost. They were not controlled by anyone, but just going around the warehouse and carrying orders. At that moment, I realized that the material we have been introduced to at the university will be related to modern problems that need new ideas and solutions.

My education will allow me to work in a wide range of positions like project manager, export manager, marketing manager, software engineer and others.
