Business Academy Aarhus
Business Academy Aarhus is situated in Aarhus, which is the second largest city in Denmark. The university has a wide range of professors in the fields of engineering, chemistry, biology and business. More than 700 students from all over the world study here. The students are in charge of their own university club – InterCultureClub (ICC), organizing various student trips and events. The university cooperates with more than 800 Danish companies, including: Carlsberg, Ikea, Nordea Bank, Novo Nordisk, Porsche USA and many others.
As in all other Danish universities, there is a mandatory internship in all programs lasting 12 weeks. The academy is in close contact with companies in Malaysia, Shanghai, Canada, Tanzania and other countries that offer internships to students from the academy. Overall, the university is one of the most prestigious in Denmark and every year attracts students from all over the world.
Aarhus has a population of around 500,000 inhabitants. Students are 16% of its total population and great credit for this goes to Business Academy Aarhus. Here you will find a large selection of different types of activities to enjoy. One of the most anticipated events is the competition with inflatable boats, held by students at Aarhus University – “Contest for the Golden Bedpan”. The competition consists of – 12 teams of 5 people in inflatable boats, which compete in the lake of the university, using interesting rules. Don’t even think about missing this attractive event. Every year the competition gathers over 15,000 students. Expect the unexpected!
