What is the program all about?

If you want to learn how the devices using the Internet, Internet of Things (IoT), work, this is the right program for you. It is a good idea to get a gaming laptop, as you are about to work with serious programs, such as the latest version of VMware Workstation. The VMwear Workstation configures routers, web servers, creates virtual machines and routers that communicate with each other, and so on. During the first semester, you will program in Python and C. You will be working on Embedded Systems, which means working on projects like Robot Car, for which you will use a Raspberry Pi. You will program and operate your car on a special track with various obstacles. Get ready to work in teams. This project usually lasts about 2 months. Each week you will add various components to the robot, such as Wi-Fi, camera, speed control and other. Here you will need a good knowledge of mathematics and physics, as you will have subjects that will require them.

Admission requirements and needed documents.

For your documents to be reviewed, you must have:
English – level B.
Mathematics – level C.

1. Motivation letter.
2. Diploma for completed secondary education or academic transcript (for the last 3 years with grades and number of hours of teaching).
3. Verification form.
4. Copy of your ID card or passport.
5. English certificate.

What can you continue studying or where can you work?

After completing the AP degree in IT Technology, you will be able to continue with the following two majors at universities in Denmark: Product Development and Integrative Technology and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
You can also review other top up or bachelor’s degrees in Denmark. If you want to continue your education outside of Denmark, this is also possible. Contact us to avoid mistakes.

You can find work in various fields: construction, sales, technical support, planning, management, production techniques, testing, purchases and consulting services. You will also be able to design and maintain large and small networks, as well as servers, security and databases. Most often you will work as: IT planner, IT and net supporter, IT consultant, System administrator, Project manager, Network consultant, Network manager, Engineer / technician.

Personal opinion and practical experience

During the first semester we were divided into 5 groups and each group had a different project. Three of them were set up by private companies and the other 2 were state-owned. All projects are managed in GitLab and every morning we have group meetings where we distribute the work and discuss what we want the final product to look like. We document everything, which we also upload to GitLab. Some of the  project examples we have worked on so far are: drone wireless charging station, submarine wireless charging, inductive load monitoring.

During the second semester, all groups worked on a project for Hydac. We had to take data from a pressure sensor, which is processed by a microprocessor and automatically uploaded to the cloud. In addition to the project, we dealt with Networking, electronics, embedded systems and programming.

Everything we learn in the lectures we apply according to our needs in our semester project. We deal with C, Python. We study juniper os online, and in the third semester we have the opportunity to choose an elective and take a free Associate Certificate course and get the certificate for free.

Overall, I rate the so far with 8 out of 10, because sometimes the organization is not at the level I expect. What I really like is that the teachers seek and accept our opinion and things fall into place with time.
